RED GUITARS AT THE OLD WOOLEN
LEEDS, 19/04/2022

Poster for the Old Wollen gig, 19/04/2022.

Thanks to everyone who came to the opening show of the Slow To Fade tour. The Old Woollen at Farsley, outside Leeds, is a superb venue with a terrific atmosphere, a great stage, and excellent sound and lights. Special thanks to support act Terra Fin and to Choque and the team at the Old Woolen for making it a night to remember.

This was our first gig in 38 years and it was promoted by AEG Presents, whose boss Steve Homer came along. It was Steve who started the ball rolling when he invited Jeremy to get the original band back together. And here we all are: Hallam Lewis, Jeremy Kidd, John Rowley, Matt Higgins and Lou Duffy‐Howard, joined in 2022 by Jos Allen on guitar and Doug Swallow on the sampler.

Doug was behind a curtain all night, but below is a rare sighting next to a photo of Choque ‐ who hosts a superb venue and team at The Old Woollen ‐ with Hal and Lou after the gig.

Thanks to our special guests Terra Fin, who played a storming set to open the tour for us.

Richard also took some outtake photographs documenting the tour:
